THE POWER OF THREE
According to the science of Feng Shui, there are three main elements that form the whole which shapes the destiny of each one of us. Most commonly known as the “Cosmic Trinity”, these three equally divided components are what create the outcomes of all endeavors in our lives. They are:
- Heaven Luck
- Man Luck
- Earth Luck
Each one of these features occupies a 33%
portion of the total 100% that represents the life of each one of us. Let’s
learn about them!
Heaven Luck is immutable. It
is the part that has been pre-destined to us before we were even born into this
world such as place of birth, date and time of birth, our parents and our
family background, genes that determine our physical features, talents and more.
These are examples of the things that we do not have control over either we
like them or not. However, being this the part that we cannot change, this
portion makes only 1/3 of the entire group of the three elements. This leaves
us with the remaining 2/3 that we have control over and can change if needed to
do so. Those are:
Man Luck also known as Human Luck is about our personality and
wisdom, actions that we take or even that we do not take, throughout life. All
these are under our control, in one way or the other.
The last 33% portion is directly related to the sector of the Physiognomy of the Land which is one of the five categories that form the structure of the Chinese Metaphysical teachings. It is where our focus lies on when we mention the term Feng Shui. It follows:
Earth Luck relates to the place where we dwell and call home and also, a place where we spend a large amount of time such as a place of business. Based on the teachings of Feng Shui, the living environment is able to influence us as well as the outcomes in all our endeavors. Fortunately, we have control over this part as well!
Coming to the understanding that although there are things that we cannot change in our lives, in contrast, there are things that we can! Being reminded of this gives us the assurance that a big part of maximizing the quality of our destiny is within our reach. This is good news! This means that we can avoid or change many things that we do not want in our lives while inviting those that we do want, and that this really depends on our true desire to make those changes by using the proper education and the essential tools. Classical Feng Shui is definitely one of them, for whoever is clever enough to give it a try!
